Start-up your UrsaLeo RPi DevKit
Power on your DevKit and then wait for 30 seconds before pressing the reset button located in the center of the Thunderboard to establish a connection. The yellow LED near the center of the Thunderboard should flash less than 30 times. This indicates a successful BLE connection has been established.
An optional debug LED module is available to attach to your UrsaLeo RPi Gateway DevKit. The USB serial console eliminates the need for a separate monitor and keyboard.
A switch (SW3) is included for initiating an orderly shutdown process. If you purchased an UrsaLeo RPi Devkit, you can request the debug LED module at no charge by submitting a request.
If the optional debug LED module is installed, the start-up process is indicated by the following LEDs turning on:
- LED 1: On (connection to Google IoT Core)
- LED 2: On (connection to Thunderboard Sense 2)
- LED 3: On (authentication with Google Cloud Platform) after a few seconds
Note: If LED 2 is not "On", press the reset button located in the center of the Thunderboard to establish a connection.
